Pottery Class Taught by Luke Michaud

  • Sip and Throw Pottery Studio 1160 26th Street Denver, Colorado, 80205 United States (map)

Come learn how to make pottery with our very own Hand Camp Volunteer, Luke Michaud. Luke leads this workshop with firsthand understanding of what it means to create with a limb difference. His work on the wheel — and in the community — is a reminder that the most beautiful things are made differently.

What is Handmade?

A two-hour hands-on clay workshop designed for kids ages 10 and up who have a limb difference. Kids will explore wheel throwing, hand-building, and sculpting in a supportive, adaptive environment where every approach is welcome.

What to expect

Small group. Big creativity. Kids get one-on-one guidance and leave with a piece they made themselves — to be fired and glazed after the session. No clay experience needed. Just bring curiosity.

Space is limited so make sure to register!
